Meet Sammie! This sweet girl is a senior, estimated around 9 years old. Sammie is looking for a home to live out her senior years doing her favorite thing -- snuggling. She frequently visits the nursing home and hospice house with her foster mom and enjoys the affection of all ages. Her tail immediately wags when she sees people to greet!

Sammie is house broken and hasn't had a single accident in her foster home. She is also crate trained, although her foster mom doesn't feel she needs it as she has never been destructive. However, she enjoys hanging out in her crate with the door open.

She is in a foster home with other dogs but needed a slow introduction when first joining her foster home. She has been great since then and tolerates her tiny foster sister's barking like a champ.

Sammie does like to get into mischief hunting in the back yard so we feel she's best in a home without cats or small animals.

She is looking for a family of her own to live out her days with and hoping it can be you!
