Kennedy and her littermates were surrendered to a county shelter and immediately brought into rescue and placed into foster homes. They have been dewormed and received age appropriate vaccines and are all around healthy and happy.
At ~8 weeks old, the typical puppy piranha teeth must be occupied when awake with puppy chews or kongs and eyes have to be kept on all shoes and charging cords that may be within reach. Potty training and crate training are still ongoing. She does her business as soon as she’s let out in the yard or uses potty pads about 80% of the time. She sleeps through the night in our guest bathroom which is set up just for her but plan to introduce a crate very soon.
She’s tenacious and will try to keep up with her bigger foster brother or chews on him until he pays her attention (he’s extremely tolerant so keep in mind not all dogs enjoy the youthful exuberance of a puppy in their face), she wants to be with her people and her favorite place to nap is your lap (which she does most of the day while foster mom works from home)
